Kärcher K2.130 T50
The K 2.130 pressure washer is a compact and powerful machine ideal for cleaning cars, bicycles and garden furniture. It is lightweight and portable for ease of use. An impact-resistant, recyclable plastic casing effectively prevents dirt particles from damaging the motor and pump, whilst a safety valve prevents pressure overload. A pressure switch control switches the motor on and off when the ergonomically-designed trigger gun is pressed and released.

Included are the T50 T-racer patio cleaner which is ideal for faster, splash-free cleaning of large areas like patios and decking, a one way lance, accessory storage bag and detergent suction facility, as well as the dirtblaster lance which provides up to 50% greater cleaning power than a standard high pressure lance.
Air-cooled motor
There are two types of air-cooled motors in pressure washers: 1. Universal motor – this is a brush type motor that has a light compact design and a high performance versus weight ratio. 2. Induction motor – this is piston motor that is more robust and quieter than a universal one. Its construction ensures a long life time due to a minimum of wearing parts. It generally delivers higher pressure ratings and provides a very smooth rpm steadiness during periods of high endurance.

I've been using Karcher washers for a number of years and it is sad to report the build quality has been dropping since the first one I purchased. This unit looks very cheap and unbelievably light considering it is supposed to contain a motor and pump. Previous models I've had have been more robust. The cheap plastic handle doesn't install much confidence and I'd find it hard to believe the model can last 2 years (which it is guaranteed for so make sure you keep the receipt!)
I suppose being so light is great if you're an old lady wanting to pressure wash your gnomes but as a "bloke" I want the thing to look like it will survive the rigours of everyday use - which this doesn't. I returned mine as soon as I got it - you can buy a similar quality product without the Karcher name on it for about 1/2 the price.
Final comment, do Karcher really need to make about 50 different models?
