Purchased this item after buying a Nilfisk pressure washer, works well, and quickly, on stone and concrete. I like the manufacturing quality compared to my last washer combo. This unit is well thought out, but could do with the jet water getting a bit closer to the outer edge when cleaning along wall edges, or other raised items. The uncleaned line it leaves needs to be cleaned up with the 'normal' jet lance. This negates a lot of its potential benefit, you are bound to get your feet wet [well I do !]. If pathway/patio cleaning could be undertaken with just this unit you could get away without. All this said, a very useful and worth while accessory.
Bought a Nilfisk E140 machine and Patio+ cleaner came bundled with it. The E140 is good; not so the Patio cleaner (The Nilfisk replaced a Karcher machine and T-Racer 300 patio cleaner)
Found the Nilfisk's hover function controlled by adjusting pressure of the 2 water jets on its central dial. Sounds ok until you try to get the thing to stop acting like a flying car and hover properly by turning the pressure down! So then it doesn't clean as well because...you've had to turn the pressure down.
The Karcher uses a mixture of airflow for hover and water for cleaning and reduces pressure by raising the jets up mechanically on a dial. The Nilfisk uses water for both hover and cleaning hence its design defeats the purpose of using HIGH pressure to clean. The Nilfisk is also smaller, so covers less ground and takes longer to finish.
Gave up after 3 hours - found a Nilfisk to Karcher adaptor (called an AL-KA) on the interweb and went back to the T-Racer......Soooo much better - back to the drawing board Nilfisk.......
